Dr. Holly Furlong graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her BS degree in Sociology with the desire to continue on to complete a MS in Social Work. While taking time off from school, Dr. Furlong discovered that she could have a greater effect on people’s lives by becoming a chiropractic physician through her experience in her own personal health crisis. The decision was made and shortly afterwards, she began her chiropractic education at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS), located in the suburbs of Chicago. During Dr. Furlong’s time at NUHS, she became President of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), for which she help organize lobbying in Washington, D.C. for fair chiropractic legislation. While at NUHS, she interned at the Whole Health Center – Lombard with a two week rotation at the Chicago Salvation Army clinic. Upon graduation and receiving her second BS degree in Human Biology, she moved to the St. Petersburg, FL area. Dr. Furlong continues on with her education with classes in acupuncture, kinsesiotape, nutrition, and biomechanics. Dr. Furlong currently enjoys discovering her new surroundings and becoming part of the community.
