YOU CAN WOMEN is a not for profit organization and is designed for all women regardless of color, educational background, financial or social status, etc. You Can Women is here to help buildup women who have been wounded by the ordeals of life as well as encourage those who are whole. Regardless of whether or not life has dealt you pain, there is encouragement to be found through You Can Women.

Over the years, there has been much said about “empowering” women. You Can Women believes that only God can empower and that He has already empowered humankind. However, women need to be shown how to use the power that God has so graciously given to them. You Can Women is convinced that women have the power to love, the power to forgive, the power to overcome, the power to persevere through the most high-pressured circumstances and the power to make a difference in the lives of others.

It is our sincerest hope that through this organization, women will be encouraged, built-up and provided with knowledge that will lead to fulfillment and successful living.

Katina D. Amoah is the Founder & President of "You Can Women." She is a wife, mother of five beautiful children (four girls and 1 boy) and an entrepreneur. Encompassed with being a wife, raising her children, and running the organization of You Can Women, Katina is also the owner of Kekeli Essentials a small business devoted to providing women with quality all natural skin care.

Now, this may come as a shock to some, but Katina Amoah did not finish middle school. At the age of eleven she was living with friends because of her mother's addiction to crack cocaine and living a fast and hard life herself. However, at the age of seventeen Katina enrolled in a program, which allowed her to receive her diploma. She attended college and God turned the very fabric of her life around. This is why Katina is convinced that regardless of what women have gone through they can overcome.

It is Katina's mission to encourage women to look beyond their faults, past-hurts, mistakes, etc. and to see that they are more than capable of doing great things.

Katina is currently enrolled in Light University and pursuing her certification in the Extraordinary Women's counseling course.

In Katina's Words:
It is imperative that as women, we understand who we are and who we are not. For example: We are not trash, unimportant, worthless, dumb, or stupid. We are, however, smart, intelligent, loving, forgiving, understanding and kind, etc. I know that there are days when we feel like giving up. That does not make us bad, that just makes us human. However, do not give-up, do not let go of your vision(s) and hold on to your dreams. I encourage you to let go of the ghosts of your past and embrace the destiny of your future
