Very Important Petz LLC was born out of the result of a need - a need for my pet to get quality care at his own home, on his schedule, meeting his needs. I couldn't find what I wanted. Over the years as a business woman in the corporate world, I had occasion to travel and making sure Sam, my Very Important Pet was cared for was always the most stressful part. In our busy family, with my college and high school student sons and a husband who is a busy RN working crazy schedules, there were times the poor dog had to cross his paws waiting for someone to just let him out for a few minutes. Even after that was accomplished I realized that we were sometimes so busy that Sam's walks were losing the sense of fun and adventure for him and merely becoming an opportunity to pee and poop. Do your business and let's get inside. Sam was not happy with that arrangement and neither were we. And we wondered why he seemed bored and clamored for attention?

Our special animals cannot be left to take care of themselves. They rely on us for the care they deserve. Some pets such as Sam, do not respond well to kennel environment and coming home after a visit to the kennel took him days to get back to normal. After one of these times with Sam, VIP was conceived. Now I am able to have the time to do this for Sam as well as all the other VIPs in Harrisburg who want to join our VIP club.

Joining Sam is a new member of our family. Meet Tanner - a mixed breed beagle who was abandoned in the Meadowbrook fields near Carlisle. He was rescued by Canine Rescue of Central PA. Tanner was originally being fostered by us but he and Sam are best friends and we are proud to call Tanner our Very Important Pet as well - as he is officially adopted!

VIP offers peace of mind for those of us who must leave our pets alone when we work long hours or travel. We may have to leave our pets alone but we do not need to leave our pets lonely. Very Important Petz is an alternative to this or having to impose on a friend or a neighbor. Even more than that, VIP is fun! Give us a call and ask for more details or just check out the web site.
