I am a Single Mother, 51 years of age, 1 son in college, working, driving his own car. I have worked for the government since 1982. May 1982 went into US Navy and served 5 years active, 6 years reserves. Left the military, went into the federal government, married, moved to Norfolk, VA. Had our son and shortly after, marriage dissolved. Got caught in base closure and moved back to DC area where I am presently. Never remarried, just kept pressing on and raising my son alone the best I could. He's my gift.......still. I strive to do the best I can, I am really driven by a good cause and when I believe in something, I'll work it to the end. I am still working for the government, but I would like to devote full time to Mary Kay and expand my business potential.
