Women Empower Member Information

Mercado del Mundo (World Market) promotes women entrepreneurs, fair trade, small business and non-profits across the globe. Our mission is to support sustainable business practices that have a positive impact in every, community in every country. 

We do this by hosting directories for women owned business, creating a global marketplace through our site, and donating a percentage of sales to various non-profits.

Our website is set up so that businesses can have their own page free of advertisements. The goal of each page will be to grow a community of companies that support one another and all people.

We look for Businesses that promote Fair Trade, Charitable Services, and Guidance for Entrepreneurs.

Mercado del Mundo was started by my mother JoAnne in 2005. I became owner in 2006 and together we work to promote independent artists. We exhibit at Expos, Host Fundraisers and are Socially Active both online and in our community. We both enjoy volunteering in our spare time and look forward to growing a successful business.
