After 13 years of a rewarding career in pediatrics, neonatal intensive care and teaching, Dr. Marny Turvill had to give it all up because she could no longer tolerate “normal” exposures to typical cleaning products, fabric softeners, perfumes, etc. Her Multiple Chemical Sensitivities had spiraled out of control, and going to work made her too sick to function. In 2006, she opened Healthy Green Goods, where she brought together a wide array of truly non-toxic household and personal care products and began teaching others how to see past the marketing hype and industry cover-ups to choose truly healthy products that will not harm them or the planet their great grandchildren will inherit.
