Stefanie is a career and life coach with more than 14 years experience working with individuals and groups, from all over the country, in career/life transition. Her passion is working with people who are ready to stretch beyond their comfort zone and experience unlimited possibilities. She is the author of The Journey From Comfort to Possibility: A Workbook of Self Discovery and Personal Transformation, which includes exercises that take readers through an action oriented process of self discovery, creating a vision for their career and life, uncovering what keeps them stuck in their comfort zone and designing a plan to achieve a career and life that "fits". Stefanie is certified as a life coach through the Institute for Life Coach Training and the International Coach Federation and holds a Masters degree in Counseling and a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Her passion is helping her clients move from comfort to possibility, as she did herself when three years ago she started her life over again when she moved to NC after a lifetime in NY – leaving her great career, family, friends and everything that was familiar – behind.
After eleven years as a Career Counselor for St. John’s University in NY, working with individuals in career and life transition, she started her own business as a career and life coach. In her career she has worked with hundreds of individuals providing motivation, support, strategies, and challenge while helping them to discover who they are, what they want and how to obtain it. She works extensively with people who are seeking greater fulfillment in their careers and lives, including better relationships (both professional and personal) and work/life balance. Coaching, for her, is the perfect marriage of her passion for building relationships, helping people to grow and "glow" with renewed energy and her varied experiences and interests.
