I am fashion & trends blogger and have just self published a series of handbooks for women. I'm also an on-air correspondent for NBC Universal's iVoices on iVillage. My focus of topic on iVillage is encouraging women to live their authentic lives. Part of my purpose is inspiring women to embrace their women-hood as well as their mother-hood. I believe a life not sacrificed is the happiest healthiest life one can live. And as women we have huge shoes to feel, so if we're not making sure to love ourselves properly or set the boundaries required to enforce love and respect from other- then their is no way we can take care of those who are closest to us.

Women Empowered (WE)
Women Empowered (WE) is a not-for-profit outreach community service resource organization with the focus on women and children living in poverty. WE provide spiritual counseling, parenting skills and health awareness. WE teaches families how to make day-to-day positive decisions, promote higher education and job procurement, along with referrals to those who are suffering from domestic violence and abuse. This organization compiles information from Federal, State and Local Government as well as collaborates with all other social agencies to aid families in their quest for transformation of mind, body and spirit. WE embrace, encourage and empower these families to live full productive and self-sufficient lives. Women Empowered provides 24-hour help line, faithbase workshops, parenting and social skills, household and money management, assist with housing, counseling and mentoring, help with finanical assisitance for higher education, role play for job interviews, provide fodd certificates along with annual back to school picinic. Our goal is build safe affordable housing for women. We need other strong women to join us in this struggle by becoming grant writers and fundraisers. Thank you.
