Women Empowered (WE)
Women Empowered (WE) is a not-for-profit outreach community service resource organization with the focus on women and children living in poverty. We provide spiritual counseling, parenting skills and health awareness. WE teaches families how to make day-to-day positive decisions, promote higher education and job procurement, along with referrals to those who are suffering from domestic violence and abuse. This organization compiles information from Federal, State and Local Government as well as collaborates with all other social agencies to aid families in their quest for transformation of mind, body and spirit. WE embrace, encourage and empower these families to live full productive and self-sufficient lives. Women Empowered provides 24-hour help line, faithbase workshops, parenting and social skills, household and money management, assist with housing, counseling and mentoring, help with financial assistance for higher education, role play for job interviews, provide food certificates along with annual back to school picnic. Our goal is build safe affordable housing for women. We need other strong women to join us in this struggle by becoming grant writers and fundraisers. Thank you.
